Aerospace
Magna Parva are capable of taking on projects involving not only mechanical design but also high end thermal and dynamic fluid and stress analysis to provide complete solutions.
The team's background in space and aerospace has involved work on both civil and military turbojets and turbofans and powergen. Our staff have provided support to Rolls Royce and General Electric on various projects involving work from 'cold end' to 'hot end' and externals. In addition, design work was performed on the Beagle2 EDLS, PAW and pre-flight ground test equipment.

- Managing design and providing guidance for sub-contract packages of design and stress analysis for gas turbine rotating and static components.
- Management of Design of High Pressure Compressor components for production engines. 3D Modelling and initial Finite Element Analysis for design iterations.
- Design of Low Pressure System (structural and non-structural) components, examining alternatives for cost & weight reduction and to overcome lifting limitations.
- Beagle 2 Mars Probe component design, modelling and drafting using Unigraphics. Particular emphasis is placed on design for low weight and extreme environments.
